Here's the hilarious Love Mode rp story.
Kitty started a mIRCgaming board and posted the logs from our mIRC chat RP of love mode. So I went and looked at them to see what it looked like. Here's an excerpt (don't worry, it's just the pg stuff, lol) and all words in ( ) are comments from the people RPing, not the character.
Cast:
Reiji_Aoe: Hota
Naoya_Shirakawa: cutelittlekitty
Katsura_Takamiya: Crystallyne
Izumi_Sakanutsa: Carole
* Katsura_Takamiya slips his arms around Izumi and nuzzles his neck lovingly
* Izumi_Sakanutsa shoves Takamiya back...."I'm trying to finish homework"
Reiji_Aoe: (we all in same place or what??)
* Katsura_Takamiya sighs
Katsura_Takamiya: (how about we start at Aoe's place this time?)
Katsura_Takamiya: Izumi, finished with your homework yet? We're supposed to meet at Aoe's house, remember?
* Katsura_Takamiya nuzzles Izumi again, even though he might get hit
Katsura_Takamiya: (lol)
Reiji_Aoe: (lol poor Taka)
Naoya_Shirakawa: (hehe)
* Izumi_Sakanutsa slams his book shut
Izumi_Sakanutsa: How can I get anything done with you doing that?
Katsura_Takamiya: You passed your exams, it's really only review work, it can wait until later, Izumi
Katsura_Takamiya: But if you really want to stay here, I can think of something better we could be doing . . .
Izumi_Sakanutsa: Let's go! To Aoe-sans!
Izumi_Sakanutsa: I'm finished anyways
Katsura_Takamiya: ( lol, knew that would get the ball rolling )
Reiji_Aoe: (o.o *thinks Crys and Carole are doing really good at keeping in character*)
Naoya_Shirakawa: (hehehe)

It turns out that the board had a ban on various swear words so when it spotted Izumi_Sakashita it automatically posted it as Izumi_Sakanutsa!!
I almost died laughing. The whole board is like that. I haven't laughed that hard in a long long time.

There's a place in the admin tool to shut that off. @_@ it's bloody annoying when a whole bunch of Japanese words get rewritten because of incidental resemblance to English cursing imbedded in other phrases. When that rewriter gets turned off the original will still be there. Kitty, mail me or something...
actually, mail me the address of the board too! I can't find it from the Proboards homepage and want to link to it from the S-C.net RP board...
That's basically web-based right? (as opposed to IRC realtime gaming?)
What general movie-rating level are you thinking of playing at?
Because if you wanted to put it at one of the two boards currently hosting S-C-related gaming stuff (either the G-to-R one or the anything-goes one depending on target level), then people who didn't have LiveJournal codes could also play.

Oh man, the best part of that was "Let's go! To Aoe-san's!" *cracks up* That so ruled.
You know, this reminds me of something my friend and I were tempted to start on LiveJournal. A Love Mode role-playing community. We'd end up holding auditions and stuff for parts, and I think we already have Sakashita Izumi, Takamiya, Aoe, and Naoya cast. (Sorry to all those who wanted to play them.)
If anyone happens to be interested in this, drop me a line at [email protected] with info and stuff. If we can get enough people interested, then we may start it.
(Yeah, you can play more than one character at once, so long as you CAN play them, and don't screw with canon. ^_^)
If you don't have any LJ codes, I have at least 13 of them to spare that I'm willing to hand out.

and the IRC window would display:
Katsura_Takamiya nuzzles Izumi's temple lovingly

hehehe... that was too funny, about the board changing the name. i hadn't even noticed it. regardless, it's fixed now. i just love the omniscient admin powers [img]smile.gif[/img]
It may be fixed, kitty, but not forgotten. I've immortalized it on this board, anyway.
